I have begun thinking about the start of the next school year - I know, this one isn't over yet - but I've always been one to think ahead. One of the first things I will have to do of course is get ORGANIZED! I created two little forms that will help me organize information in my classroom and I am offering them to you. The first is a simple student info sheet. I tried to include all of the main little snipetts of information that I may need from a student right off the bat. I can keep these forms to refer back to as the year goes on; and in case any circumstances arise. The second form is my favorite! This one is to help organize the money, permission slips, and chaperone volunteers that come along with putting together a field trip. Simply glue the form to the outside of a manila envelope, and as students turn in their items, check them off (using a vis a vis! ) and place the item in the envelope to keep it all together. This form can be used OVER AND OVER from field trip to field trip, year to year, simply because it is laminated! How. cool. is. that. ... I get too excited about the little things... but it is there for you if you would like to download for yourself! P.s. I am currently developing a teacher planning journal that will incorporate both of these forms- watch out for that coming soon!
